Anthony Foust

Anthony Foust is a +25 year veteran in Information Technology working across several industries and currently serves as the global CISO for Belron International Limited, a privately owned Fortune 500 level automotive services organization headquartered outside of London, UK and parent company of such brands as Safelite Autoglass®, Carglass® and Autoglass® operating in 39 countries. Throughout his career, Anthony has held various roles within the Information Technology function such as CIO, CISO, Chief Architect, VP of Infrastructure & Operations among others. Currently as the global CISO, Anthony is responsible for the development and transformation of the global cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber governance, cyber risk and compliance programs serving 30,000 employees and more than 15M customers annually with a recent company valuation of +$21 billon.

 Anthony obtained his MBA from Elon University with a focus on strategy and leadership as well a Master’s degree in Information Security and Privacy from UNC Charlotte. He is an active member of the technology community and regularly serves as a guest speaker, panel contributor/moderator and group facilitator. Anthony currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina and is the former Chapter President for the Society of Information Management (SIM-RTP).  He is also an active member in both London (UK), Columbus (OH) and Raleigh (NC) with the ISSA, IAPP, ISACA among many other organizations.

 As the leader or key participant of several digital transformation initiatives, Anthony’s energy is derived from organizational change and creating value-driven impacts to the customer and employee experience. His biases center around highly agile teams, scalable cloud-based solutions (e.g. HCM/HRMS, ERP, SCM, CRM, etc.) and hybrid operating models that focus on differentiating aspects of the core business from the non-differentiating/commodity traits of the business.

 Anthony’s current interests have lately honed in on international governance, risk and compliance in the areas of Information Security and Data Privacy (RegTech). Peers and colleagues would consider him a well-educated and a seasoned thought leader in regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, FDA CFRs,, PCI-DSS, etc.), audit standards and/or frameworks (e.g. SOC, ISO, NIST, CIS, SCF, COSO, COBIT, etc.). As a champion for information security and data privacy, Anthony and his team works to bring a pragmatic mindset when designing and/or recommending processes and solutions to the meet the need without jeopardizing key business objectives.

 With a never-ending thirst for knowledge in business, science and technology, Anthony seeks many channels to further broaden and deepen his experiences. He places a high importance in professional networking, diverse and inclusive team building, continual professional education and being a productive and positive contributor to society.
