The PMI Dallas Chapter is one of the most innovative all-volunteer chapters in the world, and we are proud of our 35+ year history as a chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Membership for our chapter is over 4,000 members and our monthly dinner meetings typically attract over 100 attendees. We work hard to make sure that our members and Dallas-area project managers are aware of chapter events, and that they feel welcome when they arrive.

Our monthly newsletter and website keep members informed of chapter news, upcoming events, local training opportunities (vendors post these on our website for free as a service to our members), job listings, PMI happenings, and anything else we think they need to know.

The values we have are firmly focused on developing the quality of project management and recognizing it as a valued profession. To that end, we have developed innovative educational programs like our PMP Exam Review and PM101 (Basic Project Management) sessions. We support the local educational organizations that provide project management degree programs through our College Outreach Program. Our Registered Company Coordinators (RCCs) serve as single points of contact within major area employers for information regarding the Dallas chapter to assist their coworkers in identifying ways to take advantage of the services we provide. We are very proud of the Education Committee and RCC volunteers who make these programs possible.

Making project management indispensable to business results is a major PMI objective. There are three key components by which the PMI Dallas Chapter supports this initiative:
