Network Quality Assurance

Information is the foundation of effective management. For IT managers, achieving a well-run network and aligning it with company goals requires a consistent and objective baseline reporting process. Traditionally, this has required regular review of firewall logs, Email systems, Web logs, Hosts and communications, time-consuming and labor and cost intensive work, to verify
controls and policies are effective.

As clouded economic times and shrinking budgets impact business, IT teams must do more with less and show bottom-line value. IT must lead with innovation and cost-efficiency, extracting maximum benefit from existing network investments. Network Quality Assurance provides an efficient and consistent automated reporting process offering 100% visibility
into IT & business operations.

NQA provides clear, empirical metrics so management can make informed decisions for fast issue resolution, increased productivity and better planning.

To learn about easy, comprehensive ways to assure the quality of your network, including your endpoints, you'll want to attend this informative educational opportunity and learn about Network Quality Assurance and Endpoint Security Management technology.

As a special thank you for attending this presentation, JCS & Associates, Inc. will be giving away a 1 year license to one company for up to 5,000 endpoints
worth up to $9,995 of Congruity Inspector, the premier Network Quality Assurance solution.

Understanding Managed File Transfer - Insights & Best Practices

As IT departments continually adopt new technologies to improve the performance of their systems, productivity of their end users and relationships with trading partners, they are faced with numerous challenges. One such challenge companies face today is securing and automating large file transfers. Traditional file transfer systems and mediums no longer meet the needs of most organizations or their trading partners, especially when data exposure is a concern. Many organizations have developed in-house solutions that are difficult to manage, lack the ability to track and audit file transfers, and expose the organization to security breaches. A Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution should be secure, easy to manage, and have the flexibility to integrate with existing technologies.

In this presentation, you will:

  • Gain a better understanding of the business challenges and drivers of file transfers.
  • Identify the security concerns around traditional file transfer systems and mediums.
  • Learn best practices to develop security architectures for file transfers.
  • Understand how a MFT solution can meet the needs of your stakeholders.

Next Generation Network Security Threats -- What to Protect Against in 2008

Targeted threats are on the rise as new vulnerabilities continue to propagate. Evolving threats are less broad then the mass-mailing worms of the past. Newer threats focus on individuals or a specific company combining malware and social engineering to trick the individual through subtle manipulation. This session will discuss the next generation of threats that networks will battle and how they can be protected from these attacks.

Cover Your Assets with Layered Security

Three issues underscore the need to secure digital identities and information: risk mitigation, business enablement and compliance pressures.

  • When data is lost or stolen, organizations incur both financial and brand damages.
  • Organizations require greater information flow to customers, partners and employees faster and in real time to stay competitively viable.
  • Regulatory agencies recognize the need to protect identities and information and have mandated certain requirements dictating the handling of sensitive information.

Moreover, because of hackers, keystroke logging, phishing and other attacks which grant access to applications, perimeter security (anti-virus, firewall, etc.) is no longer enough to protect identities and information. Rather, organizations need security that protects data from beginning to end, in motion and at rest. Also, organizations should apply the right level of security based on the risk of the transaction and associated costs. In summary, organizations need solutions -- often authentication, transaction monitoring and information protection -- that can scale from the most basic risk levels to the most mission critical.
