Comprehensive Data Protection Solutions
Do you know the hundreds of ways to lose your
important data? The numbers dont lie
more than 60% of information loss is the result
of lost or stolen equipment. In short, every laptop,
PC, smartphone, or USB stick is a potential weak
point in your security strategy unless
you have Pointsec® software.
Come to this informative keynote session to learn
about the security vulnerabilities in your organization
and how Pointsec offers more data protection solutions
where it really matters from full disk
encryption to port management and encryption for
removable media.

Email Security Best Practices
As IT departments continually adopt new technologies
to improve the performance of their systems and
productivity of their end users, they are faced
with numerous challenges. One such challenge companies
face today is securing their messaging environments
and business critical content for regulatory compliance,
and against inbound and outbound threats. Understanding
email threats, regulations, and encryption will
help ensure that IT departments implement messaging
and content security solutions based on recommended
best practices. In this presentation, you will:
- Gain a better understanding of email
- Understand malicious email threats
- Learn about compliance and regulations

The Evolving Threat Landscape:
Advancing Internal Network Security: Beyond Perimeter
& Host Protection
Evolving threats are overwhelming and bypassing
reactive defenses deployed in many networks and
hence require more than traditional perimeter
and host defenses to protect the confidentiality,
integrity and availability of critical data. Motivated
by financial gain, organized well-funded professional
attackers are generating more successful attacks
by selectively targeting networks. As protection
of sensitive information becomes increasingly
regulated, organizations need to be continually
diligent in their security efforts to implementing
effective ongoing security strategy and management
programs. This presentation will examine the nature
of the new generation of network-based attacks
and discuss behavior and anomaly-based network
security as an extension of gateway and host systems
for safeguarding internal networks.

10 Data Protection Myths Dispelled
Fact or Faction: Companies only need tape backup
for optimal data protection. Not sure? When it
comes to managing your company's storage environment,
it's hard to make good decisions without the proper
insight. This presentation will outline the top
10 data protection myths and provide the tools
you need to make the best decisions for data protection
optimization. We will discuss common storage myths
like "Won't clustering protect my company
in the event of a disaster?" and "Isn't
replication too expensive and complex for our
server system?" and explain why these ideas
are unfounded. We will also outline alternatives
to clustering and illustrate how companies can
use technologies like asynchronous replication
in their storage environments to effectively protect
important data and information.

Securing and Managing Privileged Account Passwords
General purpose privileged accounts such as Windows
Local Admin, Oracle Sys/System, SQL-Server SA,
and Cisco Enable, are the most powerful and sensitive
identities in the organization.
Are you concerned that these powerful general
purpose administrative identities, the keys to
your enterprise, are not optimally managed? We
would like to discuss the importance of securely
and effectively managing sensitive passwords and
how this will ensure regulatory audit compliance.
